Our
History and Beginnings
The Locust Grove
congregation began in May 2001 from a seed planted by the elders of the West
End church of Christ in Atlanta, GA. A number of members from the West End
congregation, along with other in the community and surrounding areas in
Henry County, GA held their first worship services on May 5, 2002 at the
Quality Inn & Suites (formerly the Holiday Inn) in McDonough, GA.
Today
the congregation continues to grow in number and evangelize the area
preaching and teaching the word of God in its truth and integrity.
Our
Goals

-
Evangelize - To make aware of our
services in developing the spiritual and physical man.
-
Empowerment - To instill opportunities for the individual, family and
community.
-
Restore Dignity - Foster the belief that your deeds; not your words;
should be your beacon of light.
-
Benevolence - Realizing that it takes a village to raise a child...a
village to make a man...a village to build a family...we are committed to
being a part of your village.
